"So why did you summon us here under lashes junior!" Shidou commented, as he stretched himself along Rin's bed, making the most of the impromptu dorm visit.
"I didn't summon you here dipshit, I asked my brother to help me with something and you just came in here and fucking made yourself at home." Rin glared at Shidou looking royally pissed off at the other boy.
Rin could not comprehend why Sae would ever consider dating that piece of shit. Shidou couldn't name the seven continents (so he was stupid as fuck), looked like a fucking antenna and was a talentless lukewarm worm that had no future career in soccer. (ok well maybe he wasn't so bad at soccer, but he was still lukewarm).
Sae on the other hand, (no matter how much Rin didn't want to admit it), was decent at soccer, and had decent looks with a decent IQ. So how did someone who was more or less decent, end up with an absolute dumbass like Shidou. Rin couldn’t comprehend how.
"Awww Rinrin you shouldn't talk like that to your future brother-in-law right sweetie!" said Shidou while throwing his arms around Sae and trying to make Rin as uncomfortable as possible.
Sae just rolled his eyes, not accepting the affection but not retaliating either. While Rin felt bile rise in his mouth, fake gagging he said, "the day you marry my brother, is the day I'm fucking killing myself."
Shidou pouted "but then who will be our little flower girll!"
"If you think for one damn second, I will ever consider being your fucking flower girl, you can go fuck yourself!" Rin shouted, flipping off the man stretched out on his mattress.
"No not gonna lie, I would rather fuck your brother then myself but hey I'll give it my best shot!" Shidou winked and Rin was about fucking kill this immature nuisance. When Sae intervened.
"Your both being immature, both of you sit the fuck down and Rin tell us why we're here because I have a busy schedule and if your just gonna argue with my boyfriend, I'm gonna go." Sae said standing up readying himself to leave.
"Wait-!" Rin said standing in the way of the door, "I need your help with something."
Sae stood in the middle of the room hands on his hips and said, "Well get on with it."
Oh my god Rin couldn't believe he was doing this; it was going to be pure embarrassment especially in front of Shidou ... and his brother. But who else could he turn to for help.
"I need your help ... Confessing to someone."
The entire room went silent...
"Your joking-?" Sae whispered under his breath, as if he wasn't questioning Rin but questioning himself.
"I'm not, but if you going to fuck with me. You can go." Rin said but it wasn't hostile more just like a tired complaint.
The brothers stared at each other, sharing a moment of understanding (and maybe an embrace was about to happen) until SOMEBODY FUCKED UP THE MOMENT.
Shidou the entire time had been stifling laughter until he blew it. "OHHH RINRIN YOUR ACTUALLY FUNNY AS FUCK! AHAHAH NICE ONE!!! HAHHAHAHHAH OH YOU'RE MAKING MY LUNGS HURT, OH YOU- *wheeze* OH YOUR A FUNNY GUY AREN'T YOU HAHAHAHA."
Rin partly hurt, partly ridiculed and partly offended was about to give Shidou a piece of his mind, when startling him, his brother spoke...
"SHIDOU STOP IT! It's not a joke so stop treating it like one! OK" Rin astounded at his brother's actions, (because honestly, he did not think Sae would ever do that for him) muttered a quiet "thanks..."
Sae turned to him saying "So who's the lucky lady... or guy. If that's what you're into, I mean no judgement here ... Heh."
"It's a guy." Rin said staring at the floor contemplating his life's choices up till now.
"Ah ok..." Sae said, "So what's his name-"
"It's Isagi Yoichi isn't." Shidou said bluntly, cutting off Sae. Sae was about to call out Shidou for that preposterous guess but stopped when he saw how his brother had gone from a person to a total tomato.
Shidou was shocked as fuck. "WAIT IT ACTUALLY IS- THAT WAS A TOTAL SHOT IN THE DARK I WAS NOT EXPECTING TO BE RIGHT!"
"Shut up... you fucking idiot" Rin muttered but he wasn't denying the Isagi Yoichi claim, so Shidou was definitely right.
"How did you know...." Ok so it was definitely true. His brother had a crush on Isagi Yoichi, he didn't know how he felt about that.
Shidou totally taking advantage of the chance to tease Rin went on about how Rin was always watching him play, and how they were so in sync and how they were rivals, but he was also the one person Rin actually cared about enough to try his best against him, the list went on. Basically, explaining to Rin, his little crushy-wushy was obvious as fuck.
Rin was having an internal meltdown.
Did Isagi know if it was that obvious, God damn he probably hated Rin for being creepy, if he knew WHY DIDN'T HE SAY SOMETHING- OH GOD DAMN IT RIN WAS NEVER LOOKING HIM IN HIS PRETTY BLUE EYES AGAIN.
Rin sat down on a chair with his head in his hands while Sae patted him on the back and Shidou... Well, Shidou just laughed at the absurdness of this situation.
Finally, Sae asked, "So why did you need our help, to confess to Isagi?"
Rin sighed "I need your help because ... I don't know how to tell it to him. I don't know if he wants a grand gesture or if he just wants something small. I don't know how to impress him, or what he even likes. I've never confessed to anyone before and I just- … want it to be perfect...”
"Rin listen to me," Sae met his brothers gaze "All you need to do is try your best, that's all there is to it. Do what you think he would love. If he doesn't appreciate it, then screw him you don't need him. Just trust yourself." Sae smiled and for the first time in years, Rin thought Sae really felt like a brother to him.
"Ok thanks Sa- "
"Sorry to spoil the brotherly moment but Isagi's on his way. I texted him and told him to come to Rin's room because you need to talk to him." Shidou waved his phone with the text messages on it nonchalantly as Rin felt his stomach drop and Sae never wanted to strangle his boyfriend as much in his life as he did right now.
"SHIDOU RYUSEII YOU DID WHAT NOW!"
"Rin said he needed to talk to Isagi, I texted Isagi to come over so they could talk, problem solved your welcome." He said with a wink.
"RIN WAS JUST GOING ON ABOUT HOW HE WANTED IT TO BE SPECIAL AND YOU JUST FUCKING RUINED IT."
"I don't know what you mean I did him a favor! Now he can go and get it over with instead of wasting time planning a confession when he could be playing soccer, ummm your welcome!?"
"SHIDOU YOU'RE SLEEPING OUTSID-"
"No Sae he's right. I need to get this over with, the faster the better." Rin said, although his tone was confident, his face was pale and he looked, well scared, (Sae had never actually seen his brother look so scared before.) He took a deep breath and readied himself to face Isagi.
"See I told you I'm right! Hahahahaha whose sleeping outside now hah-"
*knock knock knock*
Shidou cackling was interrupted by knocking on the door, "Ok Rin It's now or never." Sae said sending his brother a kind smile "Good luck" "Go get him Rin Rin!" Shidou said as well wishing him luck.
Rin was nearly at the door when he suddenly stopped and turned around and fuck, he was paler than before.
"I can't do this." He said in small voice only for Sae, as he returned to his head in hands on chair position.
"Oh Rin," Sae said trying to comfort his younger brother, by awkwardly patting his back. "Just get it over with, what's the worst that can happen. He rejects you, big deal, his loss. You got this, we'll be here coaching you the entire time,"
"You mean you'll tell me what to say." Rin said perking up, a renowned sense of confidence in his eyes.
"Yep, you betch'a Shidou and I will be right here with you, Right Babe? ... Right babe..." Sae elbowed Shidou in the stomach. "What was that for- OW - I mean- HELL YEA GO RIN RIN!!"
*knock knock knock*
He'd almost forgot Isagi was at the door. "OK" Rin said as he walked towards the door, hand on the handle, "wish me luck." he said as he stepped outside to see Isagi.
"They grow up so fast." Shidou fake wiped a tear drop, sliding from his eye.
"Oh, shut up! let's listen in." Sae may be Rin's brother but that definitely did not mean respecting Rin's privacy when confessing because he NEEDED to know what was happening out there.
Pressing their ears to the door, they heard Isagi say, "Hey… So what did you need to tell me?"
They heard Rin take a deep breath then go ...
"That your half-baked and lukewarm at soccer."
"Wait what- what the fuck do you mean I'm-"
"Actually, wait here give me one moment."
Rin came back inside the room.
And Sae blew up "WHAT THE HELL OF A CONFESSION WAS THAT YOU JUST TOLD HIM THE OPPOSITE OF HOW YOU FEEL!!"
"Rinnie stop being such a Tsundere, just tell him how you feel!!!" Shidou said with hands across his heart.
"Ok, ok, I just- I just didn’t know what to say." Rin sighed, looking down.
Sae face palmed and told him "Look, just tell him you think his eyes are pretty."
"Ok phew I think I can do that," said Rin. Because it was a well-known fact that Isagi had the prettiest eyes in blue lock, at least he thought.
"You got this brother-in-law!!" Shidou whisper shouted as Rin exited the room once more.
Repeating the same steps as before Sae and Shidou listened in as the pair started talking.
"Ok so you've come out to yell at me more, is that what this is" Isagi said as he let out a hmph noise.
"No, I just came to tell you, *deep breath* that you think his eyes are pretty."
"What the fuck?! I think whose eyes are pretty, Rin what do you mean??"
The door slammed in Isagi's face as Rin entered the room again to a fuming Sae and a dying of laughter Shidou.
"HHAHAHA YOU- YOU SAID- HAHAHHAA."
"SHUT UP YOU OVERSIZED COCKROACH! IT'S NOT FUNNY I TRIED." Rin shouted back while groaning and slumping back into his chair.
Sae was fed up with this, "Ok enough of these games," He grabbed Rin's arm and started dragging him towards the door, where a confused Isagi still stood on the other side.
"Woah what are you doing, fuck off, Stop it." Rin protested as Sae was about to force him out the door.
"I am not listening to you sulk over Isagi Yoichi any longer, you are getting your ass out there and you are confessing your guts out until he shuts you up. UNDERSTAND!" Sae yelled pointing towards the door.
Rin nodded slowly and made his way out of the room.
"God, I love it when you get angry."
"SHUT UP! SHIDOU I'm trying to listen."
"Ok so what is it now." Isagi said impatiently tapping his foot against the floor, "I don't have all day Rin."
The way he said his name had Rin feeling electric all over.
He cleared his throat "Ahem, well, you see uhm... Isagi."
"Yes...?"
"I want you. Be mine."
It was blunt but that was probably the best confession Rin was ever going to be capable of doing, so Sae sighed proudly in his mind.
Sae listened for Isagi's reply but the boy was silent for a minute.
"Is that a no.." Rin started but was cut off because Isagi kissed him. Sealing their lips together removed all doubt from Rin's mind and the other gave in. Wrapping their arms around the other they kissed with a hunger that had obviously been born from months of pitiful pining.
"Ew" Sae whispered but he couldn't help feeling proud of his little brother.
Shidou was just grinning like a mad man.
When Isagi broke the kiss, running his fingers through Rin's hair he said, "You know, the blue lock walls aren't soundproof."
Rin's blood went cold. "So, you heard everything ...?"
With a quick peck on the lips Isagi said "Everything."
Intertwining their hands Isagi said "Let's go out now, I want to show off our relationship status also tell Shidou I owe him one." Rin was dumbfounded but also couldn't care less because he was over the moon at that moment.
Sae on the other hand, was confused. Turning to his boyfriend he looked at Shidou as the man was grinning like crazy and giggling like there was no tomorrow (never a good combo).
"What did you do?" Sae questioned narrowing his eyes at Shidou.
"Trust me baby you haven't been the only one who had to deal with someone not knowing how to confess to someone else." He said winking.
"What do you mean Shidou-"
"Let's just say I pulled some strings boo."
"Explain."
"Fine fine, literally everyone knew Isagi was head over heels for Rin Rin except it seems you and, well Rin, and trust ME. We had to take turns dealing with Isagi's pining and rants about your brother it was plain torture, so when the opportunity arose to make both parties happy, well let's just say I told Isagi that Rin had a huge fat crush on him and to get his ass to this room for a confession. Heh Match maker Shidou at your service."
Sae was shocked but, "You know what Shidou, you didn't do bad at all."
"Does this mean you’ll let me hit tonight" Shidou asked with a smirk inching closer to Sae.
Pushing him back Sae said, "Not a chance, only if you score a hat trick in your next game."
"Ok what ever you say babe!" Shidou said as the couple happily made out.
Isagi and Rin went on their date and everything worked out in the end.
