   Summary

Shane Hollander always knew he was different. Born into a military family, Shane loved precision and following orders. He had a plan for his life. Serve in the army, come home and marry his high school sweetheart, Rose, and start a family. But despite having his whole life planned out, he always felt like something was missing.

Enter Ilya Rozanov. He is bold, brash, loud, and everything that Shane is not. If Shane was good at taking orders, Ilya was good at giving them.

It's 1940, and Shane and Ilya have been drafted to serve in the Royal Canadian Army. Setting their once parallel lives on a journey that would intersect and intertwine their souls forever.
