    As much as he tried to fight it back, Ruggie flushed all the way down to his neck. Kalim was getting a bit too obvious.

    Beside him, Silver perked up.
    “Oh, are you revising the lecture together?” They both anticipated the next set of words perfectly, “Could I join you?”

    A millisecond was all it took for Kalim to convey to Ruggie exactly what he was thinking: I wish you would.

    “Of course, the more the merrier!” Smiled Kalim with his usual, warm grin, entirely unassuming to the outside world.
