I'm not here to fuck spiders

Summary:

“What’s happening?” Neil asked, looking from one to the other.

Andrew stayed quiet, staring into space. Aaron pointed to the empty place between the bookshelf and the TV stand. “There is a spider here.”

Notes:

This was my first work in the fandom. I wrote it back in December 2024, but only now got around to translating it into English.

Work Text:

Neil was coming back to the dorm at a fast pace.

The twins' therapy had finished thirty minutes ago, but Andrew still hadn't answered his message. Every Wednesday after therapy, they would go to Andrew’s favorite pancake house for lunch, and then drive around in the car or sit on the roof. But now, something was totally wrong.

Approaching the building, Neil spotted Maz in the parking lot, which meant Andrew was back at the dorm and was either in the room or on the roof. Neil hurried inside and up the stairs.

Neil was just thinking how much of Andrew’s favourite ice cream they had in the freezer when he opened the door and found the weirdest scene.

The twins were in the room. Together. No blood or destruction. Aaron sat on the bar counter with his legs pulled up, and Andrew on the back of a couch that was leaning against the wall. They didn't talk. The television was on, showing a paused game. Gamepads were on the floor.

“What’s happening?” Neil asked, looking from one to the other.

Andrew stayed quiet, staring into space. Aaron pointed to the empty place between the bookshelf and the TV stand. “There is a spider here.”

Oh, so it wasn't about therapy.

Neil took off his backpack, walked over to the bookshelf and, bending down and looking closely, saw a little spider.

He reached out his arm and allowed the spider to crawl onto his arm. Then, straightening up, he walked to the window and released the spider under Aaron's horrified gaze.

He turned around and saw that both twins were watching him with expressions of total disgust.

Aaron turned to Andrew and asked, “And you letting him touch you with these hands?” His voice was full of contempt.

“Bold of you to assume he'll touch me again.”
