   Summary

Mary’s first and last times taking drugs was against her will. But it’s alright, her Lily is always there to help pick up the pieces.

Nothing could happen to her if she was with Lily.

And oh, oh wasn’t Lily good? In the truest sense of the word, she was good, to her very core. A church to harbour all the last pure things of this world, to cultivate them, to protect them.

And oh, oh wasn’t Mary the defiled beggar? Kneeling on the holy steps in a shredded sheer nightgown sewn from the names of all who have touched her, woven to form a net of cover too flimsy to be anything other than exposed. Too broken and twisted to be allowed passage in such sacred halls.
