Summary
After she crashes her car, Amelia is stuck in a rural town during a storm, fields as far as the eye can see. When she looks through the trees she sees the light of a house, risking it, she asks to stay with the people in the home, a married rancher couple, who thankfully had a guest room to house her.
Her car is broken more than she thought, taking days to fix, if even fixable, she's stuck with this couple, these two odd people that she can't form a proper opinion about.
As the days pass she only gets more acquainted with the two, they're kind to her, make her feel wanted, even if they so different from the people she grew up with.
