Peter was happy, way too happy.
Remy, on the other hand, wasn't. Rogue was too busy taking photos and laughing to notice that.
Going back to Peter, he was very happy jumping on Remy and Rogue's bed. His new glasses had just arrived! And they were red, like Cyclops'!
"To me... my X-Men!" he shouted before jumping from the bed to the floor.
He landed full superhero mode, his two feet on the ground along with his left hand while the right one was in the air. He obviously fell onto his butt a couple seconds later.
"I have to practice that landing"
"Ah think ya did great, suggah" Rogue cheered him up.
"Yeah! Ya did great, petit," Remy joined, brushing the kid's hair with affection. "But are ya sure ya don't wanna use one o' my trench coats? Ya might get cold, non?"
"But Scott doesn't use one!" Peter pouted, grabbing Rogue's gloved hand and pulling her to the door.
It had been weeks since that mission that left Scott on bed rest. Peter had visited him every single day.
He asked so many questions, so many stories, so many everything that by the time Scott was finally out of bed rest a week ago, he had become Peter's favorite X-Men and mentor. Yes, somehow Peter managed to convince Scott to train him into using laser eyes.
When Rogue asked him how that was going to work, Peter answered saying he just wanted to have more time with the hero and watch him use his laser because it was way too cool. It goes unsaid that Logan was not too happy hearing that, nor was Gambit about his jealousy.
“Come on pretty lady Rogue, we’re going to be late! I don’t want to leave a bad impression on Scott’s kids”
Oh yes! Scott and Jean, alongside her and Kurt, have been on the mission that left Scott on bed rest for weeks and the same mission that led them to rescue two little twin siblings on that hydra base.
This time the ones to adopt a traumatized by hydra mutants were Scott and Jean.
It seems that Scott was a very proud father since he talked nonstop (This was totally not Peter’s jealousy talking -It was-) about his two new kids he adopted with his girlfriend.
Peter was still mad that Jean and Scott weren’t married. He was planning! But after hearing he had kids he stopped the plan without even finishing it first. In his words
“They’re not my parents. Their kids deserve to make their plan! After all they are their parents, dad!” Yes, that was the very honest answer Remy got
Of course, after that answer the kid remembered that his parents weren’t married and Remy got another two hours hearing his kid of why he should marry his mother, reason number one was “She’s pretty! She is Pretty lady momma Rogue!”
He honestly got no god excuse with that logic
Rogue leaves him with a kiss on his hair before leaving once Jean opens the door
"Can I see them?"
"Oh honey, they're not ready yet to fully leave their rooms" Jean said softly brushing Peter's head. She looked so mother. Peter decided she liked Jean at that very same moment
"Oh" He bends down his head blushing a little. He didn't know if it was because of embarrassment or because Jean was pretty “It’s okay. I didn’t leave my room either when I arrived. Can I know their names?”
“They didn’t tell us their names yet. But the files at… the base” Jean wasn’t so sure if it was okay to mention Hydra’s name in front of the kid
“Hydra?” He asked, Jean nodded “It’s okay you can say the name. Dad and Mom also try to not say it when I’m around but grandpa logan always come to my room shouting when he comes back from a mission to tell me they took one more down”
“Logan shouldn’t do that”
“It’s okay” He just shrugged “I like it when he does that. They’re bad people. What did the files say?”
“Their names are Wanda and Pietro, twins.”
“Twins! So cool! I always wanted a twin. Imagine the pranks we could pull together!”
“I can imagine” she said with a smile going Peter to the other room where Scott was “Scott’s over here”
“Did you know Scott doesn’t have laser eyes? He projects powerful beams of pure force from his eyes. That’s so cool”
“I know Peter” she said, trying to stop a giggle
“He also can jump from very high places and use that optic blasts of his to stop and then he falls in hero pose and shouts ‘To me, my X-men!’ I watched it on a video on internet!”
Jean was fully containing a laugh now, covering his mouth with her hand
“Really?”
“Yes! He’s so cool! I was practicing that in my mom’s room earlier!”
“That’s wonderful”
“Yeah! And I got this super cool cyclops glasses I bought on internet with my dad card!”
Jean laughed as she opens the door “Scott! Peter’s here!”
Peter run to hug the man “Scott look at my glasses!”
Jean laughed, closing the door leaving the two boys alone
“Your girlfriend is so pretty!” Peter said “But your cooler don’t worry”
Peter was leaving after four hours with cyclops. He was so so so awesome, the more he spent with him the more he liked him.
He was waiting in the corridor until the xmen leave the kitchen so he could go and grab something to eat in his room.
Because he was better. He now could talk and hug and have physical touch with his dad, his momma, his grandpa Logan, Scott and maybe Jean? His metal limbs didn't appear when she touched him, and he was a little bit nervous but not scared!
So he was doing great, definitely. But going into a loud kitchen with a lot of random persona he doesn't know? Yeah, he wasn't ready for that.
Though he did need to meet Kurt! It was his momma’s brother after all!
So yeah, now he was walking the same pat on the corridor. Funny enough he wasn't on the floor but on the ceiling.
That's when a door opened and a head with white hair appeared.
That did scared Peter, an intruder? His metal limbs appeared as quickly as the door opened, and it hurt like hell.
He gimped before jumping from the ceiling into the ground facing the intruder.
It turned out that the intruder it was only a boy.
“Who are you?”
“Pietro? Why are you taking so long” Wanda wined behind Pietro, her head appearing next to her brothers
Her red curls falling into her face, she was so pretty! She was a very pretty princess for sure.
“Who are you?” Pietro repeated himself.
“Oh! I'm Peter” he said, hiding the metal limbs on his back “I'm rogues and gambit's kid.” He smiled
“You're from hydra, the arachnid kid” Wanda said pointing at him.
“You know me?” Peter blushed
“We were with you, but they moved us before they arrived, they left you behind because everyone believes you were dead.”
“Oh”
“Pietro! Dont be mean” she said hitting her brother on the arm. “Do you want to come in?” Wanda asked with a smile. Peter nodded entering the room
