Summary
Clark and Bruce couldn’t be more different than they already were. Whether in personality, lifestyle or beliefs, so different to the point that under normal circumstances the chance of them meeting would be small, if not null. But fate always finds a way to unite those who are meant to meet, even if it’s through the most unusual ways possible.
At 20 years old Clark moved to Metropolis to pursue his desire to be a journalist, seeking the truth, investigating injustices and giving voice to those who need it. His double life as Superman began a short time later, when he realized that small heroic acts like the ones he did in his adolescence were no longer enough in the face of the adversities of the current world. A few years later, amid villains, natural disasters, people who called out his name and cats stuck in trees, a black figure emerged in a nearby city, a new hero, with methods different from his own, who skulked through the shadows and attacked stealthily. It would be a lie to say he wasn’t curious about the nocturnal vigilante, but he didn’t want to get involved more than necessary. That is, until that day.
