   Summary

"It's at that moment that Aemond finally, truly realises that Jace will be king. No matter what, he will be king because Aemond will make it so with fire and blood."

In a universe where Luke is just a little bit faster on the flight from Storm's End, Aemond finds himself imprisoned at Dragonstone. When Jace returns from his own diplomatic efforts in the Vale and the North, his visits to Aemond's cell lead to an unravelling of everything Aemond has always believed he stands for.
