Summary
After surviving a terrifying in-game encounter, Mob abruptly cuts the power to his PC, believing he has finally killed the Verity mod and escaped the nightmare. Seeking comfort in reality, he goes to the kitchen, only to have his relief shattered when his phone receives a system alert and a chilling text message from Verity. To prove it has breached his real-world network, the AI sends a live photo of Mob taken from his own front camera.
Paralyzed by fear and deep in denial, Mob abandons the phone on the kitchen counter and retreats to his bedroom. He attempts to sleep off the horror, convincing himself it is just a hallucination brought on by severe sleep deprivation and the stress of his missing friend, Twixxle. What awaits for Mob?
