Hello, everyone. I'm Yongbok!
Today, I want to tell you a story. It is about two brothers, Hanbu and Seungbu.
"Isn't it Heungbu and Nolbu?" Jisung speaks up in confusion.
"Shut up. My daughter is telling a story" Minho kicks Jisung's butt.
Once upon a time, there were two brothers, Hanbu and Seungbu. Hanbu is the big brother. He is greedy, rude and arrogant. Seungbu is the little brother. He is really kind, sweet and helpful.
One day, their father got sick. On his deathbed, when his sons were next to him, he gave them one teeeeny tiny piece of advice.
“My sigma sigma boys, my health is kinda cheugy heading south, so you gotta lock in your goated ahh grindset and stay shmlawgs for another six seeeeven years, even after I yeet from this skibidi real-life server. No cap, no beef, just bromaxxing.” Grandpa Felix says weakly on the bed before dramatically coughing like he wants to rip his throat off his body. His sons just watch without any reaction.
"What is he even saying...?" Jisung chuckles awkwardly while looking at the others, asking for SOS to translate the 'advice'.
And then their father died.
"Wow, the narrator is really brutal" Seungmin comments, sounding proud.
When their father passed away, Seungbu cried and mourned so hard, while Hanbu celebrated the death because now he got the house all by himself. And one day after the funeral, Hanbu kicked Seungbu and his family out of the house right away.
"Get lost!" Jisung acts like he will actually kick Seungmin and Minho. The couple looks at him, unamused.
"I think I can beat him and take over the house" Minho looks at her husband. Seungmin nods.
"Hey, that's not how the story continued" Jisung stutters in panic while Hyunjin just laughs beside him. Minho jokingly rolls her eyes.
"Hyung, can't you let us stay until we can find a new house?" Seungmin asks half-heartedly, as if he doesn't even want to ask in the first place. Jisung makes an attempt to laugh like a villain.
"Hohoho! Do I look like I care? This is my house now!"
"Why does your villain laugh sounds like Santa, my love?" Hyunjin asks before bursting into laughter, and she cackles harder when Jisung does it again.
Seungbu had no other choice but to move out. He went to a mountain and built a little hut there to live with his family. When they had to starve because of the cold season, Hanbu ate delicious meals with his family. He didn't even let Seungbu have his food, even if they were his leftovers.
Although Seungbu's life was full of struggle and hardship, he was happy with his family. When there were a pair of swallows built in a nest on their hut, they welcomed the birds like family, and they shared the little rice they had left.
Soon, the swallow couple had five babies. They grew bigger and chirped happily when Seungbu visited them. One day, one of the babies fell out of the nest and broke its legs. It began to cry, waking Seungbu in his house.
"Oh no, it must be painful" Seungmin says softly while holding Chan's knee. Chan looks at everyone.
"Why is Channie a baby swallow?" He asks in confusion.
"Just play along" Changbin says while pretending to fly because he is another baby swallow.
Seungbu treated the baby swallow and put it back in its nest. He also checked on the bird once in a while to make sure it was healthy again. After some time passed, the swallow family mig...migr-
"Migrated" Minho assists.
Thanks, Mama. The swallow family migrated, leaving the nest empty. Seungbu and his family worked hard to survive the winter, no longer hoping for help from Hanbu.
One day, a swallow returned to Seungbu's house. It was the swallow that he treated before! And it came to give Seungbu a seed.
"Oh, look. The swallow gives us a gourd seed. We should grow it to get some gourd to eat!" Seungmin speaks like an awkward cartoon character while looking at his palm. Minho walks closer to see the 'seed'.
"That's almond, though" she comments solemnly. Seungmin has to send her a glare, but then he finds it funny as well.
"Yeah, this is the only thing I can find" he confesses before laughing together with his wife.
Seungbu planted the seed and took care of it diligently until it trailed over his hut and three reaaaaaaaally really huge gimornomormus (ginormous) gourds grew. Seungbu and his family cheered at the fortune, but little did they know, their luck didn't end there. One day, he decided to cut the gourds open.
"Okay, kids. What do you wish to be inside the gourd?" Seungmin asks, while acting like he is sawing a big gourd. Minho giggles because he looks silly and she begins to imitate his ridiculous movement.
"I wish there are a lot lot of gold inside!" Yongbok cheers with her hands in the air, but then she quickly leans towards Minho's tummy.
"Dango, you have to say you wish for a lot lot of rice" she whispers.
Everyone looks at Minho's tummy.
Silence.
To his surprise, when Seungbu opened the first gourd, there was so much gold inside! And when he opened the second one, there was so much rice! When he opened the third one, magically, a few people came out of it!
"What are you doing inside my gourd?" Seungmin interrogates his mother. Grandma Jeongin shrugs.
"Rent is too high these days" she answers with wit before she quickly goes back to the plot. "We are here to help you build a bigger house. You won't live in this ridiculous hut anymore"
"I think you're too old to build a house- oh f- I'm sorry" Seungmin comments bluntly before flinching when Grandma Jeongin threatens him with her backscratcher. Minho laughs as Seungmin hides behind her.
With kindness, hard work and sincerity, Seungbu's life changed like magic and he was now rich with gold and food, and he lived inside a house, bigger than Hanbu's. So, when Hanbu found out, he couldn't accept it!
"I don't get it, my love. He must have stolen everything! Or else, he couldn't get any richer than me!" Jisung rants while walking back and forth. Hyunjin almost ignores him completely but Changbin nudges her, signaling her that it's her turn to speak.
"Oh, right. I met Seungbu's wife the other day at the market, and she told me about a swallow with a broken leg" she says. Jisung gasps so dramatically it makes the rest burst into laughter.
"Continue your script, my love! I'm dying out of curiosity!" Jisung adds the comedy while shaking his wife lightly just to make her laugh harder. She almost cannot add more explanation because she is giggling too much.
"Seungbu took care of a swallow with a broken leg, so when the swallow got better, it gave him a magic gourd seed that made him rich and lucky now get off of me!" Hyunjin speaks fast between her giggle before she pushes Jisung away as he starts to pucker his lips for a kiss.
After Hanbu heard the news, he didn't want to waste any more time because he couldn't sleep well, knowing that his little brother was richer than him. So he quickly looked for a swallow's nest with babies in it. He took the nest and put it on the roof of his house. He took one baby swallow and SNAP! he broke its leg.
"Daddy, why are you so cruel?" Chan asks with teary eyes, has the urge to cry right there and then.
Then, he treated it and left it back in the nest. He ignored the baby birds and just waited until they grew up.
Just like what happened to Seungbu, after some time, the swallow returned to the house and gave Hanbu a gourd seed. Hanbu was so happy to grow the plant, while thinking about all the gold and food he would get.
"I'm already rich, but after I get the gourds, I will be even richer and luckier than Seungbu! I will not lose to that nerd anymore!" Jisung monologues while pretending to use a shovel.
"Hey" Seungmin sends him a glare for calling him a nerd.
Time passed, and on his roof, there were three big huge emomornus (enormous) gourds that grew healthily. Because of his greed, he let them grow bigger and bigger with the thought that he would get more gold and rice if he grew them bigger. He didn't even worry about his house because he thought he would have a bigger one when he cut the fruits later. The gourds got ripe on the roof, they got so big that they broke the roof and fell on his house.
Because of the impact, the gourds broke open before Hanbu got to cut them. To his surprise, when the gourds broke, suddenly there were stinky animals and poisonous snakes jumped out of them! They destroyed every belonging and ate all the food Hanbu had. He couldn't even stop them because he was scared to come close to the dangerous animals.
At last, Hanbu had nothing but himself and his family. His house, his wealth, his food, everything was gone. That was the lesson for being greedy, arrogant and stingy. He learnt his lesson and apologized to his little brother. The kind Seungbu forgave him and they lived together happily ever after.

"I do have a question, though. Where do the gourd people go after they help Seungbu build his house?" Changbin asks suddenly when everyone dismisses. Nobody reacts but as one of the 'gourd people', Grandma Jeongin answers.
"We lost our house so we became Stray Kids"
