Summary
Seventeen year old Elara Hope Monroe has always felt alone, moving from home to home until the Monroe family finally adopted her when she was thirteen years old, despite being alone for most of her life her social worker assured her that she was loved which of course Elara doesn’t believe.
The only place that she has never felt alone is at Hogwarts with her two best friends, James Sirius Potter and Dominique Gabrielle Weasley, her fellow Gryffindor housemates. The Weasley’s and Potter’s had accepted her into their clan at hearing how her life had been, also at Hogwarts she meets and gets to know Hermione Granger who just happened to be the Hospital Wing’s Matron.
Elara’s last year at Hogwarts comes with some surprises and changes, first she’s Head Girl which she wasn’t expecting and the second biggest thing being that Draco Malfoy takes on the role of the Potions Master. As the year goes on, Elara starts to get anonymous notes that allude to her past and that start to start looking in the direction of the Potions Master and the Matron that have a past that few know about.
