   Summary

Steve Harrington is a waning star at Hawkins High. He’s ready to finally bring home the basketball tournament and then, finally, leave for college.

Eddie Munson is on his second try at Senior year, and all he wants is to actually make it out this time.

But when Billy Hargrove transfers in halfway through first term, priorities and alliances change fast.

This fic is the spiritual lovechild of the "it's not exactly a car, Steve" Steddie moment in Season 4 and the fight scene between Steve and Billy in Season 2. That's it. That's the fic.
