“Phone calls should be taken in the common area”. The voice was clipped, just enough irritation in the tone to make Merlin flinch. The stranger’s eyes swept over Merlin quickly, sharp and assessing. Merlin pulled his shirt back down to cover his exposed belly button and promptly sat upright.
