Summary
“Sometimes, the only way to find your way back to the living is to walk through the shadows and let an angel pull you home.”
When Ilya was a child, his mother promised him that one day, someone would come—someone who would stay by his side and make sure he never felt alone.
Years later, after a devastating accident leaves Ilya fighting for his life, Shane refuses to leave his side.
And somewhere between life and death, Ilya finds himself back at the dacha he loved as a child, where his mother is waiting for him.
She has one last promise to keep.
All Ilya has to do is open his eyes.
