Summary
Lee Heeseung never had any reason to believe there was anything beyond what his own eyes could reach. Not until he met Park Sunghoon, the new pastor in charge of the small church at the heart of the city. There was something strange that was difficult to ignore in the way he spoke, in the silences that lasted a little too long, and, most of all, in the way he seemed to look at Heeseung as though he already knew exactly who he was.
Maybe it was just his imagination. Maybe it was curiosity. But the more time Heeseung spent around him, the more he felt like he was standing before something that should not exist.
Sunghoon knew that certain temptations should be confessed before they became sins. Still, there were things that even prayer could not silence. And when faith, desire, and something far darker begin to intertwine within the walls of that church, Heeseung realizes that maybe some people don’t enter our lives to save us, and that not every creature who kneels before God is praying to Him.
