   Summary

   Out of each and every soul on Earth, Misa's entire world centers upon one soul, and one soul only. Despite the distance, despite the feigned coldness, she knows her love is shared just as equally as her own, even if he has to hide it from everyone. She repeats such thoughts as a mantra in her mind at any moment of doubt — when he dodges her kisses and turns his gaze away from her eyes to fix upon their pseudo captor.

   So could she really be blamed for wishing for his full attention? It's only a harmless good-luck charm, that willow branch. And yet, when one unknowingly plays with fire, casualties aren't far behind.
