Grace fidgeted with his hands, forcing himself to swallow around the lump in his throat. “They sound incredible, Rocky. I’m…I’m glad you’ll get to see them soon, I’m sure they’re gonna be over the moon to see you too.”
Rocky trilled softly, and despite the growing dread pooling in his gut, Grace felt a modicum of comfort from the sound as it vibrated through his chest.
“What about Grace?”
Grace glanced down towards his friend. “Hm? What about me?"
“Day before mission. What did Grace do? How spend time before leaving?”
