Summary
Eddie Munson is mysterious, seductive, seemingly pulled in by the storm, and Steve is immediately fascinated. People in town talk, they say he's a witch and they might be right. Eddie says he's there to ‘heal bad places’, and no matter how enamored Steve is with him, he's going to leave, eventually.
Hawkins seems built on one of these cursed spots and in his mission to heal and help others, Eddie is getting close to a growing number of people. But he can’t allow himself to get attached to anyone, most of all careful, kind, big hearted Steve. They both are starved for love, but hold back despite their sexual relationship. Maybe the two unmoored men can find love and grow roots together, but the threats of bigotry and hatred of mistrusting people might cut them down.
