Ilya was scrolling through Facebook on his strictly stay-at-home-dad account, where he only interacts with other stay-at-home-parents. The account had nothing to do with hockey and didn't link him to being a retired hockey player.
He stopped when he found a mommy and me group that was in his area, he had seen many post about how fun it was to be in one as a stay-at-home-parent, to have friends to talk to about being a parent and get and give advice, he had the WAGS but he often got sad hanging out with them when all they talked about is how much they missed there partners.
He would love to have a group where he didn't have to think about shane being away from their family for half of the year.
He went to the group account, and saw that they were interested in new parents joining. He decided to send a draft message to the group leader to see if he could join.

It's just that we have had problems with stuff like this before with the other dad we let into the group. So we eventually had to kick him out of the group even though he had super sweet kids
We only kick people out of the group for super serious offenses because the kids all get pretty close and we hate to take there friends away. But he wouldn't stop flirting with me and the other mom's so we had to get rid of him.
Just making sure you're not here for that.

No I just want my girls to have friends but I would also like friends with other stay at home parents the only other ones I know are through my partners job and I would like to not talk about their work for one play date

Well we would love to be friends to🥰 the first 2 weeks you are in the group you will be on a probationary period you will have to come to atleast 2 play dates, and after that if you qualify for being in the group you will become a full fledged member.
