   "Wait!" Michelle interrupts. Max is staring at her as if laser focus will magically make her thoughts pop out of her head. Well, joke's on Max, because Michelle actually has no clue what she's thinking. "You can't punish us because we were practicing for our fight club."

   It's silent. Max's stare is burning a hole in her skull. Michelle's heart has never beat this fast in her life.
