Summary
Jack Abbot is a 34-year-old veteran and second-year resident when his therapist tricks him into befriending some of his colleagues. At first, his fellow R2, 28-year-old Samira Mohan, isn’t one of them, and in fact she’s pretty sure he doesn’t like her much at all. But that’s fine—she doesn’t need him to like her, as long as it doesn’t get in the way of her being a good doctor.
Beneath each other’s prickles, though, they start catching glimpses of someone they can respect and trust, and maybe even someone they can like.
