On a beautiful, sunny day, black clouds began to gather over Paris, heralding a new threat.
The villain wore a long brown coat adorned with patches depicting various scenes from fairy tales—brave heroes defeating villains. In his hand he held a large brown book with golden trim. A large teardrop-shaped emerald was at its center.
Whenever someone nearby had a lesson to learn, the emerald began to glow. The book would rise into the air, its pages flipping rapidly. It would then fire a white beam, trapping the chosen person within the pages of a story.
As always, the heroes fought fiercely, fending off the villain's attacks. It was no easy task, as the emerald glowed whenever they came too close to their opponent. Both of them knew exactly what that meant. Even so, uncertainty had already begun to take root in their minds, making them wonder what they would experience if they were trapped within the pages of the story.
Annoyed by the villain's incompetence, Hawk Moth decided to join the battle alongside his loyal assistant and friend. He knew that once the heroes were drawn into the book, victory would be his, and their Miraculous would finally fall into his hands, allowing him to make his long-awaited wish.
The battle raged on. The heroes had to face not only the villain but also their longtime enemies. The fight became increasingly uneven, forcing them into a corner more than once. Even so, luck and their excellent teamwork allowed them to remain undefeated.
Searching for a solution, Ladybug used her Lucky Charm, receiving a small circular object resembling a wedding ring. She had no idea what she was supposed to do with it, especially since, in a way she could not understand, it seemed to be connected to both Mayura and Hawk Moth. As always, trying to lighten the mood with a joke, Cat Noir remarked that perhaps the solution was to fix the married couple's relationship.
Although it was a silly joke, it gave Ladybug an idea. The ring and the fact that the emerald also glowed in the presence of the two adults were not coincidences.
She decided to take the risk. She stopped her partner by taking hold of his hand. Confused, Cat Noir looked at her, waiting for further instructions, but Ladybug remained silent, carefully watching the villains surrounding them.
When Hawk Moth and Mayura charged toward them, ready to deliver the decisive blow, she shouted for Cat Noir to use his staff and launch them into the air. At the perfect moment, a white beam shot out from the book, sending the two unsuspecting villains into the pages of its story.
