"Wade," he said again, and his voice had gone rough, urgent. "What the fuck are you talking about?"
Wade's grin flickered, and for a moment, just a moment, Logan caught a glimpse of something raw and wounded beneath it. "I'm just saying it's okay. I get it."
"Wade. I'm not going to fuck Scott Summers," Logan said, very slowly, like he was explaining something to a particularly stubborn child.
Wade's smile went tight and brittle at the edges. "Sure. Okay. That's— yeah, that's fine, peanut. But I'm not, like, stopping you. If you want to, I mean. It's not like I own you or anything. We're not even married yet. You can do whatever you want."
"Let me get this straight," Logan said, and his voice was shaking now too, but he didn't care. "Summers comes to me and says, 'Hey, Logan, you and me and Jean, let's go.' I tell him no. I tell him I'm gay, and I'm engaged, and I'm happy. And you— what? You think I'm gonna change my mind?"
