“I am not compromised.” Dior kept his tone clipped and short. Just barely, he refrained from continuing and you are hardly young. This line of questioning had arrived too late. Neither of them could change their minds now. Before Maedhros could say anything else, Dior flung himself into the fray. He was used to kissing a taller partner and so it was with a minimum of fumbling that he stepped forward, placed a hand on Maedhros’s sturdy waist, and pushed himself up on his toes to brush their lips together.
He immediately regretted it.
Or: Dior and Maedhros’s marriage will buy a wary peace. They just have to get through the ceremony and wedding night first.
