Summary
Galen of Windshire is a Sharn Watchman with a murky history and a talent for trouble. When a mysterious tabaxi woman with a charming smile and a complicated past draws him into a plot involving revenge, organized crime, and a stolen artifact, it seems like a manageable kind of trouble. It isn't. As buried secrets come to light, the stakes climb from personal vengeance to a scheme that threatens all of Sharn - and potentially all of Khorvaire.
Faced with monsters and madmen, corrupt nobles and crime lords, and danger at every turn, Galen discovers that the safest route may be side-by-side with the woman who got him into this mess - and that the line between partner and something more is harder to hold than either of them expected.
