Summary
A year and a half into their relationship, Shane's life with Ilya could not be better. He's officially a professional hockey player for his favorite team, he'd building a life with his boyfriend and his parents are still his biggest supporters. But going from his university team to the MLH is harder than Shane expected it to be. There's a lot more eyes on him, and he's away from Ilya more than he'd like. This next chapter of his life was supposed to be the best one yet, so why does Shane feel like it's harder than ever?
On paper Ilya's life is perfect. He's got an incredible boyfriend, a beautiful condo they share, and a decent paying job that doesn't want to make him claw his eyes out. But he left nearly everyone he knew to move to Montreal to be with Shane, and he's not even home half the time now that hockey season has started.
