Summary
Xeno Wingfield doesn't believe in wishes. He believes in Stanley Snyder—he has loved him since they were seven years old–he’s never let himself call it that. But the longer he lets himself fall, the more cracks start to show: a memory Stanley shouldn’t have, a kindness that always seems to arrive when Xeno needs it most. Some best friends would do anything for you. Xeno’s just starting to wonder what “anything” actually means.
So when Xeno makes a wish anyway, on a childhood toy, in a parking lot, at the worst night of his life, he tells himself it means nothing.
It's not the wish that's listening.Or
Inspired by the premise of Obsession (2025) film. There’s still a wish. But there’s no willow, because this story doesn’t need one.
