Work Text:

The echoes fall down the hallway as the cries of pain haunt her thoughts. She was always a beautiful flower but that was for naught. In the shadows of day, no one knew what a monster she became.

Voices hum outside the window sounding excited and proud while she sits her, remaining in the crowd. Tears fall down her face as she remembers her fate.

Loud echoey rain drips outside her window sounding like dropping pins in the empty room down the hallway. She remembered the twisted fate that fell upon her, was she truly a monster.

"What did you do to that boy?" she cried, screaming loud like a bald eagle in the sky.

She looked at her and frowned "I don't know what came upon me"

The woman looked at her up and down "You're a cruel, ruthless monster" She spat out making the little girl cry.

"Momma! I don't know why I did that" Cold fast drying tears fell down her cheek as the woman scoffed and walked off.

...

She didn't know what to do, this was all too new. A little girl was truly a monster, born with the evilest intentions you could find. But in her eyes she was not.

"I don't understand, everyone left me. I just don't know what they know!" She screamed out to the sky, expecting no reply.

The room was quiet and chained but she could hear a little girls cry. She looked around and found, another girl younger than her with blue and black eyes. She had horns on her head and she was quite shy.

She didn't know how to comfort such a young girl, after all she was just ten. She knew no one deserved this, so why did they?

Nobody knew, not even the ones who put them here. They were scared little girls who didn't know what they did to deserve such punishment.

A voice whispered through the hallways "i'll get you out soon, little girl" she swore it sounded like her dad. Will someone actually safe them or will they be trapped forever and never see the sun again.

...

"What do we do with her?" Her mother whined "She was quite abnormal, and had wretched red eyes! You saw what she did, she hurt that boy! We need her gone now, she needs toshe reaps what she sows!"

Her dad frowned "Well maybe, she can stay with us?" he pleaded "we can just teach her the right way! She's just ten" He cried as she scoffed in his eyes.

She shook her head and smiled "Lets give her to our cousin, the one with the big tower" she smiles inhumanely.

Her dad tried to stop her but nothing happened.

...

She knew this would happen, but this room was horrid. Dirt everywhere and red spots.

The other girl cried as she noticed it too, because the room was lightened up from the bedroom light.

They needed to get out, but they didn't know how.

Maybe they could pry the door open and get out!

Until the wretched words appear again "You're a cruel, ruthless monster"

She had gave up.
