Summary
Yellow was volunteered by his father for a top-secret asteroid mining mission, along with nine other teenagers. When their year in space is nearly complete, they get sideswiped with terrifying news. Aliens are real, and a deadly, parasitic species just wiped out an entire mining crew. The best way to ensure that no one on the Serenity has contracted the parasite is a month-long quarantine.
Yellow doesn’t mind the extra time in space too much—until his friends start dying. He knows that someone must have become infected. Yellow keeps careful tabs on everyone’s alibis, determined to figure out if someone is lying. When evidence starts pointing him towards the culprit, he hesitates to come forward. What if his friends believe the murderer instead of him? What if they think he’s the one behind the deaths?Series
