Work Text:
Something was wrong with MK.
Pigsy knew his kid. He raised him, for heaven's sake. He knew when the kid was happy, when he was sad, when he was angry. He knew his kid.
So it wasn't hard to see when MK started acting… different. Acting not like MK.
His smiles were a touch too wide to be comfortable, his movements were too jerky one second and too smooth the next—his entire demeanor was shifted two inches toward crazy.
Pigsy tried to ask about it, of course he did. But MK would just smile that wrong smile and say, "You worry too much! Everything's fine."
He couldn't put his finger on it. But something was wrong with MK.
And he was determined to figure out what.
