Summary
Penelope Bridgerton has not seen or heard from her husband in two years, since being forced to marry him three years prior.
Unable to be in the same household after a year of marriage, Colin leaves on another tour, leaving Pen alone in their Bloomsbury home. Abandoned and alienated, she begins to lose herself, at a loss for how to mend her broken marriage to a man that despises her. After two years, a missive is sent to let her know her wayward husband will soon return. She decides she will suffer no more, and embarks on her own journey. A journey of not only self discovery, but of understanding and forgiveness.
