    Summary

The frost tonight’s unforgiving. If no one’s died yet that will change. It’s only a matter of time until the woods here have had a taste of blood for its sake. The Elysian Plains bow to no man seeking gold and mirth in its bones, the great expanse is the last place to string a legend too behind your name. But that doesn’t stop folks on their journey. Parties come and go on the spine. Transportation’s one of the quickest ways to really thin the crop and their minds. Those brave enough trek the wilderness with all they have on hand and their luck. There’s no use up here for a prayer. The gods below never last. Nor supplies. Nor wit. Nor reason. Nor breath. Most will wander off until their tombstones are the tree roots sizing up.

Anywhere At Your Service will be the last thing to save your life. It’ll find you anywhere up the mountains; and in the forest too before you die. When the signal comes for a rescue, Lin Ling drives out into the dark. When he comes back he’s in shambles. He couldn’t save a life. (That’s a lie.)
