Summary
When Merlin is struck by an ancient spell during an ambush, he loses all the memories that make him Merlin. Gone is the clumsy manservant who follows Arthur through every misadventure, and in his place stands Emrys: an enigmatic sorcerer of legend.
Arthur is determined to get his friend back and escape this new persona of his, but ancient magic requires ancient remedies. The Druids provide Arthur and his knights a few possible solutions, but one in particular catches their attention: Emrys, the most powerful sorcerer to have ever walked the earth, and perhaps their only hope of restoring Merlin to himself.
Or Merlin gets hit by a spell and awakens as Emrys incarnate.
