   Summary

Canon divergent, in the space between the Heated Rivalry epilogue and the beginning of The Long Game

Shane and Ilya decide that they can live together somewhere in between Montreal and Ottawa, while Shane continues playing for the Metros and Ilya begins playing for the Centaurs. They have a quiet, beautiful house and each of them has an approximate hour commute to his team. It seems like a perfect plan, other than the usual variables (weather and other 'acts of god').
