   Summary

   In which Snotlout gets to be the hero, but it isn't all it's cracked up to be. It actually kind of... sucks. Because it's Hiccup he's rescuing, Hiccup who's drugged to all Hel, limp and vacant in his arms, Hiccup who's covered in blood and bruises and scars deeper than flesh and bone.

   How can he enjoy being the hero when those images of Hiccup are seared into his mind forever? And how can either of them ever find normal again?
