Summary
By the time the tenth day of Seonghwa's imprisonment in his own mind began fading into the eleventh, he wanted almost desperately to know more about the nurse. His mind had latched onto him as a lighthouse through the storm of Seonghwa's paralysis, and he knew he'd rather die than never get a chance to at least glimpse the man and thank him.
But instead of the tired man in scrubs Seonghwa pictured, there was a monster in the chair beside the bed. He felt his heart stop. He recognized it. He'd been obsessively looking at its face in a file not too long ago. The One-Eyed Shifter, asleep at Seonghwa's bedside.
-
In which Seonghwa is a monster hunter sent on what he believes will be his final mission after a few too many screw-ups under his agency's watchful eye. He's right, but not for the reason he thinks.
