Jon Snow looked at his tiny hands. He was back as a child, just after the fever, he thinks. Well, if I understand it right, he time traveled into the past. The people talk about King Viserys I. As he has no home now, it would work if he joined the Watch again.
Kingsguard Criston Cole POV
Criston looked at the young child who seemed to be clutching a bastard sword that seemed like a Zweihänder in his tiny hands, but he seemed to defy all expectations as he brandished the sword with surprising skill and dexterity.
Defeating most of the bandits showed a nice future for the boy. Maybe he takes him as a squire at the Red Keep.
Criston made his way to the boy, but made sure the boy could hear him.
Jon pointed his sword and spoke in a very childish tone:" Who are you?"
Criston answered : " I am Ser Criston Cole, Ser Criston of the Kingsguard. What is your name?"
Jon knew who that man was he was the who became the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard for Viserys I Targaryen; who was later knows as the Kingmaker." I am Jon Snow."
Criston looked surprised and asked:" A Bastard of the North. What are you doing so far in the South?"
Jon thought for a moment before he answered:" I have no idea how I landed here, but I am on my way to join the Night Watch."
Criston's eyes opened, and you could feel he wasn't very pleased:" You want to join the Rapists and Murderers; how old are you?"
Jon felt insulted he was once part of them after all! :" It's an honorable post and a way to have honor and pride as a bastard and a good future. And almost at my 6 namesday! "
Criston smiled at the words of "honor and pride" and said, " How about you join me for a few years at King's Landing as Squire before you throw away it all? I don't think any Lord or similar would allow a young child to join the watch."
Jon knew he could just leave, but he was hungry and couldn't stop himself from whispering out, " Uncle and his lady wife said it would bring honor to the family. And a safe place too."
Criston wants to kill two people even more than Daemon, and that means a lot a very lot.
But in the end Ser Criston Cole got a Squire with Jon.

Ends with Criston becoming the father figure for young Jon. It was something interesting for Jon and at the same time, Cole too.

Queen Alicent connects the odds: Jon is Daemon's son... The way he fights everyone other than Criston, Viserys, and Jon, knew it.
Criston doesn't want to accept it, so he doesn't acknowledge it or sees it!
