Sahar's Poem, read by Skasi6 - Google Drive link

She Shines like Glitter in the Sun
Sahar's Poem

She shines in a cloud of glitter
In shades of pink and yellow
Soft whispers of gossip conspiratorially caress my ear
My heart aches at how near and far she is at the same time

That a giggle can both make my heart leap
And dash it to pieces

That the ghost of her touch
Casual and meaningless
Lingers on my hand long after she is gone

She is a flit of a butterfly
Here and then gone
Never noticing the destruction of my heart in her wake
That I pull away because I must
I pull away to protect myself

Her personality like glitter
So hard to remove
Imprinted on my heart

Still
I would drop it all and come running
If she called
