Chapter Text
Regulus knots his fingers into Remus’s, leading him from the kitchen past the occupied rooms—toward the only empty bed left.
The air is still thick, their skin sticky enough to strip down to shorts and climb in—the mattress groaning under shared weight.
Regulus traces idle paths along the scars scattered across Remus’s chest, down his arms.
Remus shivers, leaning into the touch, curling his hand around Regulus’s, guiding it lower.
No words. No promises.
Just the slow heat of two bodies learning to trust the space between them.
Outside, the house sighs and settles—inside, they finally do the same.
