She thinks he may just growl at her, but he doesn't. Samira has the feeling that she should apologize for staring, but he's now the one who won't look away, so she decides this is the perfect time to give her book another chance. She finishes another three chapters along with her drink, never once taking her eyes off her Kindle. When she asks the bartender for the check, he tells her is already been taking care of. She looks to where the man was, but he's no longer there - only his empty glass.
