Finally! Finally! FINALLY!
I can’t believe this actually happened! I managed to convince them that leaving this place was the best option. And honestly… it took them long enough. Now it is time for me to finally leave this hellhole of a building, and get to the city for some help. (Because, yes, these people NEED help, seriously)
But of course, Ruler is still nagging me. Go figure that even though I won the majority of people during the debate, he is still held as the group’s leader. He says that “It’s not very safe” and “Only those who want to go should go”.
Can I pull a Money and snap that annoying prick in half? (I’m not even saying this out of rage, it’s a genuine question… just out of spite at this point.)
So now, it is time for me to get as many of them as convinced as possible to leave. I know that Sticker and Beach Ball are practically begging to leave at this point. Apparently they want to hit up the “Trampoline Warehouse” nearby and grab the limited edition “Unbreakable Jump-o-line 3000” or something? Those guys are weird.
I can also get Toothpaste and Fern to leave, I think. And Needy too. With six of us going out there, we can travel faster to the city and avoid the black goo. I am going to talk to them. I should also stock up on supplies… (I wonder how much I can steal from Ruler). I’m out of weapons, but I think there are some leftover knives around here? I need better tools, anything at all.
I miss my flamethrower.
Anyways, I’ll be signing off, and getting everyone rallied!

Notice
ATTENTION SERVANTS EVERYBODY!!!!!
ANYONE WHO LEAVES THIS BUILDING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BACK IN. THERE ARE NO IFS, ANDS, OR BUTS.
As your group leader, leaving this building to go to the city is seen as an attack on my skills. Am I truly not trusted enough for you to not listen to my best decisions? We are alive only because we are sheltering inside of here.
That is all I need to say.

Well, that could have gone worse, but it certainly could have been better. Seriously Ruler? I knew that you were a tyrant, but going this far? I thought that your whole goal was to keep us alive?
Clearly, I must have misheard you. I’m debating actually going ahead and snapping you in half now.
I’m currently standing at the door as of writing this, ready to finally get outside and breathe in the fresh air. Needy is right behind me, which is surprising. I thought that she didn’t care enough to leave? Maybe I’ve been too harsh on her as of lately; she clearly matches my energy, and she’s not stupid compared to everyone else here.
Additionally, Sticker, Beach Ball, Fern, Toothpaste, and surprisingly, Sidewalky, are going to go with me. I asked him why he suddenly switched up, and he said that he doesn’t like thinking that hard and just goes with the majority (Not exactly what he said verbatim, but I prefer what I write to be coherent)
…
Will we really be safe out there? It’s a point of no return, Ruler made sure of that, and they all nominated me as their temporary leader. I guess I hadn’t really questioned my skills when I was the underdog, no one listened to me anyways. But now? As an actual leader, they are going to be depending on me to make good decisions, and not just be the devil’s advocate. I feel very stressed, and my head is honestly spinning a bit now.
Hopefully the fresh air will help out.
Also Toothpaste requested this group to be called the “Lucky Number Sevens”. I don’t exactly know where this came from, but there are seven of us leaving to go outside. And because I grabbed knives, I can fend off any invaders. Wish us luck, diary! (Oh wait I forgot, I’m taking you with me as a planner)

To whoever is reading this, be careful. Everyone else in my group is dead, and now it is my turn. I hear it outside of the window, the only spot I didn’t board up properly. Ever since the tar covered the sky, these weird creatures have been spotted out of nowhere. One of them has been relentlessly pursuing us the past couple of days, stopping at nothing to hunt us down. Its figure is horrifying, and the screech of it haunts my dreams and makes my nightmares.
I should probably tell you, unlucky reader, my story. After all, there is no one else left to document it. It all started the day of the tar. I was doing my job as a news reporter at that time, trying to write an article as to why the sky suddenly turned dark, when I heard screaming outside. I looked out the window, and saw dozens of objects running for their lives. Me, being the stupidly curious one that I am, decided to go outside of the office, to try and get the fresh scoop. How foolish I was. That’s when I saw it. Bugs turned giant, some bearing purple dots, some having blue skin. They started consuming everything in their wake, crumbling some objects into nothing, buildings turning into ruin. I followed a group of, I want to say 16 others, (It doesn’t really matter how many of us were alive initially, we were being picked off one by one by stray bugs), and we ran away from the city.
The Chill Canal City, turned to ruin, just like that? I would never have expected that. I guess it was already ruined ever since Ice Ball came into power, but I don’t want to get involved in politics again. Anyways, our self-nominated leader, Cattail, stated that she had a house in the caves, and we could hide out there away from the bugs. So, we walked. It was okay, but we were all traumatized from the massacre we just witnessed. Would the killed eventually be recovered?
Everything was going as well as it could be, until that creature arrived. Just a single swipe of its arms splattered one of us to the ground, reduced to nothing but the floor we walked on. It was horrifying, someone eliminated just in an instant.
We ran for our lives, and I think 5 of us were taken out. We found shelter in the reeds by the canal. We needed to make it to Cattail’s house. We just needed to survive that creature.
Unfortunately, things don’t work out in the apocalypse.
Cattail was the one to get herself, and everyone else, killed. As the leader, she had strong ideas, yes, but she would not listen to anyone else’s judgement, not even for a second. And so, she commanded them straight to their deaths, ignoring my advice. I will not elaborate, as I may have blanked out the memory of what happened. (Trauma and all that)
All I know is that in the chaos, I grabbed her keys and made a run for it, miraculously making it here, all while being pursued by the monster.
That is what happened to me. This is my story.
If you are here now, beware. That creature is probably still here, waiting, watching, for its next unlucky victim. Please make sure t
ITS STARTING TO BANG ON THE WINDOW
