Chapter Text
Michael Robinavitch was running late to work. It wasn’t like anyone really wanted him there, and he just wanted his sabbatical to start already. Coffee in hand, he rushed through the streets of Pittsburgh.
A sudden squelch made him stop in his tracks. He looked down, and- oh, for fucks sake. He had stepped in dog shit.
This might be worse than his mother leaving, he thought, because now he had to trail dog shit through PTMC. Everyone would think he never showered.
Michael didn’t shower, but the copious amounts of body spray he put on every morning hid the smell of sweat he gained from his lack of washing, and now this shit was going to make everyone realise he hated the shower.
With a shake of his head, he decided to tough it out. Only 11 hours until he could leave PTMC and hit the open road with his super awesome motorcycle that he wasn’t driving today because the writer cannot be fucked to write in his ugly stupid motorcycle.
Approaching a busy crossing, Michael made sure to look both ways. He was that competent, at least, and he couldn’t die yet, he still had to inappropriately ask his twink boyfriend to house sit for him. Because that’s what people want. More white men having more irrelevant conversations.
Wow, he loved having boring conversations.
In a state of admiration for useless and bland conversations, Michael decided to step onto the road. However, the dog shit on his shoe made him slip, landing right on his back in the middle of the road and spilling his coffee all over him. Just as he began to stand, he suddenly felt himself be slammed backwards by the heaviest force he had ever witnessed in his entire life.
A screech and then car horns.
Samira Mohan stopped her car, opening the door and walking to the front. Michael Robinavitch lay lifeless on the ground, his coffee still spilled on his shirt, and his massive forehead shining in the sun.
She got back into her car, before driving over him. She then reversed, just to make sure he was really gone.
When Samira got to work, Jack Abbot was waiting for her at the entrance, holding a medal.
“They gave you this because they are appointing you the new attending for the day shift, also because you’re the best.”
Samira smiled, and everyone cheered because of how gorgeous her smile was.
