Chapter Text

Techno Blade was diagnosed with Schizophrenia at eight.

Apparently voices in your head that speak to you weren't normal. Techno was weird for that.

But hey, Skeppy couldn’t bully him for it, because he actively chose to look like his hair was dyed with blue kool aid in a McDonalds bathroom. So there was that.

Although at Sixteen, hanging out with his only friends, the voices were really annoying.

Something is wrong
It’s the air
E
Bro we should raid Hannah’s fridge

Currently, Techno was destroying Hannah and Skeppy in Mario Kart. The voices -or Chat as he called them- were not making this easier.

“Your cheating” Skeppy hissed, slamming his hands down on the table. He looked at Techno with pure fury. Hannah just looked so done with them.

“Not my fault you're bad” Techno grinned, and Skeppy looked damn near a second until jumping across the table and chewing his face off. At least, until Hannah drags them both outside

“Okay, enough video games for you,” she said. She then walked outside, leaving the two others to follow because Techno thought it was weird to be in someone's house without them.

The three walked down the street. Probably not looking like much of a threat to anyone that wants to mug them.

Hannah ended up dragging them to a playground down the street. God, this town was full of places for teens who can’t legally drive to hang out. Techno sat on the monkey bars, occasionally adding a comment to Skeppy’s rant about his mom.

“It’s like she purposely moves them!” Skeppy groans, running his hands through his neon blue hair. “Like forgive me woman for having a specific spot where I leave my good hoodie.”

“Bruh, these are such first world problems” Techno laughed, Hannah snickered beside him.

This was what it was for them, they hung out on playgrounds and different abandoned structures until it was dark. Summer was great. This might be one of the best days in Techno’s life.

By the time it’s dark, the three of them were just watching the stars. Occasionally a plane driving by. Chat was quiet today, they usually were when he was with friends. It was great. Soon he would go back home and start the day over again.

“Do you think we’re alone in the universe?” Hannah asked, watching a light drift in the sky.

“We can’t be, it’s so statistically impossible” Techno laughs. He tucked his knees under his chin, looking up at what they guessed was Mars. Sitting in the sand with the other two, Skeppy was silently shuffling cards.

“Didn’t you fail science?” Skeppy looks at him with the corner of his eyes, Hannah chokes on air.

“Statistics are Math, and I was top of my class in that”

“What is that?” Hannah interrupted him, pointing at something bright flying overhead. Too big to be a plane. She stood up, watching that something drift into the woods. Before Skeppy or Techno could stop her, she pulled out her phone light and started jogging towards the creepy thing in the air.

“This is stupid” Skeppy mutters, a grin on his face. Techno swore he was the only sane one here.

The alien in Techno’s cell was… loud.

They seemed scared of Techno, despite being both bigger, and creepier than him. Although they did look fragile.

It stayed on the far wall across from Techno’s horde of blankets he stole. Chat was trying to give them a name

Liviathan?
E
Orca
We aren’t naming it E
Steve
Chemeleon

“I’m just going to call you Lizard,” Techno told them. It backed away further into the stone at the sound of his voice.

Hoof sounds were coming down the hall, and Techno got really excited. His favorite guard, they brought Techno supplies to patch him up, and actually good food.
The familiar looking Alien (He called him Sheep) came down the hall. A tray of food and a bag come back. Lizard peaked their head up, and made a clicking sound to Sheep. Sheep said something back and gave one of the tray’s to Lizard. Before crouching by Techno and giving him his trey and the bag filled with bandages and the alien version of Tylenol.

“Thank you” He said, with a slight nod. He liked Sheep.

“Over here!” Skeppy called. He pushed past some plants, locking eyes on some weird looking ship. The Thing knocked down a bunch of trees, but it was near silent. How had no one heard it?

“Aliens” Hannah gasps, covering her mouth gently.
Weird blobby monsters were scanning the area, making grunts and whistles to talk to each other. Using technology, very StarWars kind of scans, to take in what looked to be plant life.
One of the blobs turned to look in their directions. The three teens froze, before turning on their heels and running.

A technical net flew around them, and a gas came from somewhere. Techno blacked out.

The human didn’t eat, instead taking cloth wraps and wrapping them around its wounds. Seemingly blocking its blood flow.

“So, does it know we’re in duo’s? Or do I risk it killing me in my sleep” Wilbur asked the guard outside. The hybrid looked at him with hesitance, before nodding.

“Yeah, it's good at picking up context clues. My guess is that once it recognizes you as a friend, it will protect its pack.” The kid looked at him.

“I will usually be your guard, the human has grown used to me. I think it’s because I give it medical stuff.” The guard turned half-way towards him. “It’s an animal, they fight to stay alive.”

Wilbur looked at the human, it was definitely alive. Not thriving, like the essempi says they do in violent situations. It- They looked broken. Carefully picking the food up and smelling it, like they can smell if it’s safe to eat.

At least he was on a team with the human, and not against it.

“-hno! -echno! _Techno!”

Techno opened his eyes slightly, staring up at stark white walls. He saw Hannah above him. A worried look on her face.

“Wha?-” Techno pushed himself onto his elbows. Looking around, all the walls were white, with blinding LED lights above them. Hannah and Skeppy were awake, and looked on the verge of panic attacks.

“Aliens. We were abducted by aliens” Skeppy muttered, absently playing with his hair.

The three sat in a loud silence, for a long time. They didn’t have windows in their cell, so they couldn’t look outside. The feeling of the ground though, gave away that they were moving.

After what felt like hours, one of the walls suddenly turned a green transparent. After flinching away from it, the three teens saw the blobs again. The smaller one grunted, and in an instant, the other three had Skeppy, and were dragging him out.

“Skeppy!” Hannah cried, scrabbling to grab him, but she hit the transparent wall. Techno watched in a horrified silence as he was dragged away. The only noise was Hannah's panicked gasping of breath.

She covered her mouth, but techno grabbed her, hugging her tightly. The two sat on the ground for hours. Chat kept track of time for him.

After the third hour mark, the wall turned transparent again, and Skeppy was thrown back in. He was shaking, and breathing harder than ever. Techno grabbed his shirt and hugged him, and Hannah cried again, laughing hysterically.

“You’re alive, you’ll be okay. It’s okay Skep” Techno breathed, murmuring in his ear. The blue haired boy grasped them both.

“It was just a medical exam” He ragged out. “They took my blood, and did an X-ray thing”

The three teens just stayed on the ground, not risking letting go.

Chat told them that after a week, was the next time they saw the blobs. They’d been eating raw synthetic meat that was dropped through a pipe for that.

When the wall turned clear, they saw two blobs, and a blue-ish alien. They spoke to each other, before the blue one handed over a bag of something. Then the aliens took out a gun, and shot him.

Techno woke up alone in a different cell. In a bed, with one of his hands restrained, and both feet tied together. Above him, the same blue alien as before stood over him, a needle in its talon.

Weeks, or maybe months there. Chat eventually lost count. He was still in the same bed, constantly sick, with a feeding tube in his restrained arm. He was uncomfortable, and tired, and he could barely remember what his parents' voices sounded like.

Now, he was being sold again. This time to a fiery looking creature that was cold to be near.

He wasn’t tested there, instead becoming a pet. He was at least fed actual food.

He stayed there for a long while, until that monster. A satyr like alien took him. And then he was there. Fighting for his life for entertainment.
