November 30th
"So we have the meet and greet tomorrow, and then I have an interview, and then all of this is gonna be over," Shoyo says, a sad note in his tone. The convention's been fun, and he's sad that it's ending.
"Yeah," Tobio replies from where they're sitting next to him on their hotel room bed. "I've gotten so used to doing this every day I have no idea what I'll do with myself when I'm home."
Shoyo nods, and then yawns. "It's getting late," he says. "We should head to sleep."
Tobio laughs dryly. "Is it bad that I want to stay up so that way this doesn't have to end?"
Shoyo laughs too. "I feel the exact same way. But we have things to do tomorrow, and they're not going to go well if we're tired."
"Fair point."
They plug their phones in and put away their laptops, then finally crawl back into the bed. It's their own little space, one they've shared for a week now, and in it, Shoyo feels like he can truly be himself.
Tobio lifts up the covers in invitation, and Shoyo crawls under them.
"Can I?" Tobio asks, motioning that he wants to move closer to the man.
Shoyo nods. "Yeah."
They move so that Shoyo is curled against Tobio's side and they're both pressed against each other.
Tobio presses a kiss to the top of Shoyo's head. "Goodnight Sho." They can feel him smile from where his head is pressed to their chest.
"Goodnight, Tobio."
It feels bittersweet, like an early goodbye.
December 1st
"Oh my god I can't believe I finally get to meet you," the girl whose turn it is to take pictures with them at the meet and greet says.
Shoyo grins at her. "It's good to meet you too!"
They snap a picture and talk for a little longer, and then it's the last person's turn.
"Hi there--" Shoyo starts, but stops when he looks up and realize that the person who just walked in is none other than Tobio themselves. "Tobio? What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to surprise you," they say sheepishly, rubbing the back of their neck.
Shoyo smiles at him. "Aw. This is great, now we can finish up the meet and greet together, the fans will be happy to see both of us, and they can ask stuff about the collab!"
"Yeah," Tobio says, sitting down next to Shoyo.
They greet and talk to a few fans, snapping pictures and making social media posts as they go.
When it reaches noon and the meet and greet is finally over, Tobio says, "There's another reason I showed up, actually. Me and Tooru are leaving at 12:30, so I wanted to say goodbye. So yeah, this is it, I guess."
Shoyo forces himself to smile. He feels like he could start crying any moment now, which is ridiculous, because he's only been talking to Tobio for like two months now, and it's not like they're never going to see each other again.
"I'm going to miss you, you know."
Tobio laughs. "Dumbass. You can always text me, and we're meeting up in a week or so to do the final edits for the vid."
Shoyo scrunches his nose up. "Yeah, but it's not the same."
"True," says Tobio, and pulls the tangerine haired youtuber into a hug, their head resting on top of Shoyo's.
They stay like that for a while, content to be wrapped up in the other's arms.
Tobio checks their apple watch when it buzzes, then curses under their breath. "Fuck, I have to go," they say, stepping reluctantly out of the embrace.
Shoyo stands on his tiptoes and kisses Tobio on the cheek. "I'll see you around," he says.
"Yeah," Tobio says back, blushing.
They walk out of the room and head down to the lobby to go meet up with Oikawa, wishing that they could just have a little more time with Shoyo.

'YOUTUBERS SUNSHO AND TOWOBIO SPOTTED TOGETHER AT MEET AND GREET'
Four days ago, on the last day of Vidcon, fans were surprised to see both Kageyama Tobio and Hinata Shoyo at Shoyo's meet and greet. According to a fan who was there, the two seemed close and intimate, and she suspected they were even holding hands under the table! Could we have a new youtuber couple coming soon?
The two are friends with popular LGBT youtubers, gamer Kozume Kenma and Oikawa Tooru, and are both out as gay and bisexual respectively. Hopefully, we get an announcement that they're together soon, they're just so cute!

December 7th
Shoyo picks up his phone with a smile. "Hey," he says, running a hand through his hair and angling the camera so his face is in view.
"Hey," Tobio replies. They're curled up on their couch, a cat in their lap.
"Oh my god," Shoyo says. "I didn't know that you had a cat!"
"Yeah, his name is noodle," Tobio says. "He's in some of my videos sometimes, but usually just in the background." They pick up the cat and holds it in front of their face. "Noodle say hi!"
Shoyo laughs and waves at the grumpy looking cat. "Hi noodle. Did you name him that?"
Tobio shakes their head. "Tooru did."
"Of course they did. Oh! I was thinking, and I got this idea," he says.
Tobio puts their cat down and rests their chin on their hand. "Oh?"
"We should film a collab together! Like a Q and A video. Because you know how everyone had questions for us when we did the meet and greet together?"
Tobio nods. "Yeah that sounds good. We can go over details and shit later over text," they say. "Right now I just wanna talk to you."
Shoyo blushes. "Yeah me too. You done anything interesting recently?"
"Not really, just been editing the clips from vidcon and helping Tooru, they're hopeless at editing. Editing's taken over my life."
Shoyo laughs. "Me too! Kenma made me edit their footage too because they have company stuff to do and they have to stream almost every day because their fans expect it of them."
"Fuck editing, all my homies hate editing," Tobio says with a smile.
Shoyo laughs again. "Yeah."
There's a crash from across Tobio and Oikawa's apartment.
"Tobio! Help!" Oikawa shouts from their filming room in the apartment they share with Tobio.
"What the fuck do you want, Tooru?" Tobio shouts at them. "I'm busy!"
Shoyo laughs at Tobio's words. "Don't be mean," he says.
"My backdrop fell on me and knocked over my lighting setup," they shout back.
Tobio swears. "Fuck. I have to go and help them with this," they say. "I swear to god Tooru's going to end up killing themself accidentally."
"It's okay," Shoyo says. "We can call another time. It was good talking to you though, I missed you."
"I missed you too," Tobio says.
"Bye," Shoyo says back and waves.
"Bye," Tobio replies, then hangs up, running off to help Oikawa.

December 13th
The group of youtubers decide to meet up at Kenma’s apartment to finish editing the last parts of their collab and to post it. They’d each edited their own footage but now it was time to put all of it together to make the video.
Once they're done editing, they gather around Kenma’s MacBook and collectively hold their breaths as Kenma hits “post video”, and spend a few minutes watching the view count climb to one hundred.
Shoyo closes the laptop as soon as the comments start rolling in. He makes a habit of not reading them unless Kenma sends him some, having had one too many bad experiences with transphobia and deranged shippers.
“Should I bring out the champagne?” Oikawa asks seriously, rummaging in their bag.
Kenma starts giggling. “I didn’t mean it seriously when I asked you to bring champagne, but I’m not saying no.”
Oikawa pulls the bottle out of his bag and pops it open dramatically. It starts spraying all over the floor. He aims the spray of champagne at Kenma, who starts shrieking and rolls out of the way to avoid getting soaked.
“I hate you,” they say maliciously, shaking their hair like a wet dog. “I will ruin your reputation. I will get Glittertooru is over party trending on twitter.”
Shoyo and Tobio watch and laugh as Kenma continues to threaten Oikawa, who is now mopping up champagne from the floor with a bunch of paper towels. Oikawa looks terrified, even though Kenma is about half a foot shorter than them.
Tobio turns to face Shoyo, moving their hand closer to Shoyo’s where it’s resting on the floor. “Can-- can I?” they ask shyly.
Shoyo nods, but he’s still unsure. Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction, and hopefully Tobio doesn't assume that he's leading them on. He wants to kiss Tobio, badly, but he doesn't want to make the first move, doesn't want to scare him off.
Tobio takes his hand in theirs and it feels like the pieces are starting to fall into place.

December 24th
"Hey!"
Shoyo turns around to see Tobio walking toward him, bundled up in a large coat and a scarf. He's holding a gift bag in his right hand.
"Hi," Tobio says, smiling. They're holding a gift bag in their right hand, and they hold it up, saying, "This is for you. Don't open it yet though, wait until you get home."
Shoyo nods. "Okay. I have something for you too," he says, handing Tobio a tightly wrapped present. They put it into the bag that's slung over their left shoulder.
"Shall we?" they ask, offering a hand to Shoyo. He takes it with a smile and a blush rising on his face. The two have been more physical ever since the convention, and Shoyo loves it. It's been ages since he's felt this comfortable around another person that wasn't Kenma.
They walk around the marketplace, stopping at shops and booths to check out what they're selling and buy each other small trinkets. Shoyo buys Tobio a ring in the shape of a snake, and Tobio buys Shoyo a flower crown. It's cold but the air is crisp, and Tobio's hand is warm in his.
Tobio spots a hot chocolate stand and drags Shoyo over to it, they both order drinks and leave, sipping them as they continue to walk around the square.
"You know that I made Tooru pay for all of my drinks for a week 'cause he interrupted us when we were on facetime?" Tobio says, laughing.
Shoyo giggles. "You're so mean, Tobio."
"They deserved it," Tobio replies. "They took away my time with you."
Shoyo blushes and looks down at the floor. He likes Tobio's blunt honesty, and the way they say anything that's on their mind, but it has a tendency to tear Shoyo open and leave him speechless.
They continue looking around, and soon enough, it starts to grow dark, and they start to do the thing where they know they need to say goodbye, but each of them doesn't want to be the first one to say goodbye.
Eventually, Tobio is the first to break. "I guess we'd better start heading back," they say.
"Yeah."
Shoyo walks them to their car and presses a kiss to Tobio's cheek. "I'll see you around," he says, then runs off to his own car, blushing furiously.
Tobio stands there for a second before getting into their own car, a hand pressed to where Shoyo kissed them.
