Andrealphus smiled lazily as he waved the tickets in the air. “Two tickets to this new rock band playing in Pride. They just arrived in Hell a month ago, and supposedly, they’re quite popular in the human world. Would you like to go with me by any chance?”
Would he—were stars giant balls of hot gas in space?
Vassago imagined his smile could be seen in said outer space. “I would love to, mi hielito.”

Summary
After the fallout of a disastrous attempt to free their love from the shackles of the monarchy and dueling expectations, Andrealphus and Vassago find themselves on opposing sides of a different kind of war-a cold war. A war waged not with magic and hands but hearts and minds, and the thorny question of how one can be redeemed after fucking up fatally. Thankfully Vassago has a lot of patience, and a lot of friends to try and sort it out.

Andrealphus knew damn well how he wandered into the disgusting, plebeian bar for the poor on a Thursday night looking for someone who could follow through with his little scheme. He also knew that a few fruity tequila drinks sometimes made his robe fall off, one could say, even if the man he took home was beneath his station.
