“Did I have a choice?” Zuko asked, wincing at how harsh it sounded.
Sokka just scoffed. “Uh, yeah. Nobody can make you do anything, you’re the Fire Lord. There’s like, two people on this planet who can tell you what to do and you’d listen— the Avatar and your uncle.”
“Three,” Zuko corrected.
“What?”
“Three people who can make me do stuff I don’t want to do,” Zuko said, softly. “The Avatar, my uncle, and you.”

Approaching the 10th anniversary of his coronation, Fire Lord Zuko hopes that by the time they return to the capital he'll have another thing to celebrate: his engagement to Sokka.

“My boyfriend is making dinner, so the stream is gonna be over soon,” Sokka says cheerfully. He can hear Zuko in the kitchen; the sizzling of food and the smell of a homecooked meal put Sokka so at ease that not even this horror game can bother him. “And before any of you accuse me of not helping out or being a bad boyfriend, I have been told multiple times that the only cooking I’m allowed to do is grilling or barbequing. So I’m not--”
“NO!” Sokka yells suddenly. His character in the game becomes victim to a sudden jump scare and death. From the kitchen, there’s a crash. His shout probably startled Zuko as well.
