"Ryan..." he whispered, swallowing down his nerves. "I'm sorry I told them...about you and Hunter." He watched Ryan's shoulders fall further as he sighed, but Naim pushed on. "I think I was scared about how I felt...About you."
Ryan was silent for a long moment, but then he slowly turned his head to look over at Naim. His blue eyes flicked up and down Naim's laid-out form slowly before he squeezed himself onto the thin mattress next to Naim, nestling his head on the pillow beside him. Their foreheads bumped against each other, limbs pressed together in the limited space, and Ryan's breath puffed over his lips.
"I was never scared of this, Naim," Ryan whispered into the dark of his bedroom, almost like a prayer.
