“It does if you know where to twist it a bit,” Urahara says lightly, and Shūhei just groans. “If my calculations are correct,” he goes on, ignoring Shūhei’s glare with the ease of a man well-used to people glaring at him for all manner of reasons, “I’ll be able to transport you and one other person a little over a century backwards in time. That should be sufficient time to put a stop to Aizen’s plans.”

Summary
As things calm down from the Quincy war, Kensei and Mashiro tell Shuhei he needs to take some time off and go home. Shuhei agrees and heads back to his hometown for some rest, but there's a concerning number of people vanishing in a similar way to people vanishing a hundred years ago. Shuhei, the reporter and soldier, decides to investigate to find the source. At the same time the Seiretei decide to investigate the same issue, not knowing Shuhei is there and hoping that Aizen's impact isn't still infecting the Rukongai.

And while she is at that, she will make sure that the kid she found on the street is healthy and happy, even if she has to beat every last villager over the head to archive that.She will make sure that Naruto is happy and loved before she leaves.
