Rukia has been having strange dreams over the past few days about a mysterious family. They keep calling her name, but she doesn’t recognize them. At first, she ignored it; however, the dreams became so frequent that even during the day she began to zone out and fall ill without any apparent reason. Three days after her birthday, she lost consciousness and fell into a deep sleep — and no one knows how to wake her.
Her brother, Byakuya, also begins to have visions of his late wife, warning him of an approaching danger.
When Ichigo returns to the Soul Society to check on Rukia, he ends up battling an unknown enemy who is trying to assassinate her. How can they fight an enemy who seems to know their every move?
